Still Got Flash?
"By now hopefully you're removed Adobe Flash from your browser, or, if you need to run Flash, you're using the Chrome Browser," begins Jim Hamm. "However, if you've still got Flash installed, here is an article on how to use plugins to help control Flash from playing."
And you'll want to read this. Jim goes on to add, "Now even the Federal Government is getting involved. You probably don't need/want to read the alert, but here it is -- from the 'United States Computer Emergency Readiness Team.' Impressive, huh?"

Yes, there's more about hacking! Jim Hamm alerts us, "I just read the following article wherein it is estimated half of all American adults were hacked this year! Hacking for ransomware or credit card or other personal information has become big business, it seems. Why is this so? The article succinctly puts it as follows: '...we're increasingly moving our lives online'...

iPhone Emergency Alerts
Jim Hamm found this helpful article, "Are You 'In The Know,'" detailing the Wireless Emergency Alert system. "Following is an article from the Small Dogs Newsletter with information that could come in handy sometime. I've got the alerts turned on, although I only found two to turn on -- not three as mentioned in the article." See it here.
