Dear Friends:
For the last 4 years, we’ve made every possible effort to make the hybrid format (in-person & Zoom) work for our monthly general meetings. Despite the best efforts of many of our techies, the hybrid format has never worked well and has made meetings less enjoyable for those who attend in person and been very frustrating for those who attend by Zoom. Therefore, the Board has decided unanimously to drop the hybrid format for our general meetings. From now on, during the period September to May, when the Yavapai College (YC) campus is open, our general meetings will be in-person only. Monthly special interest group meetings will continue to be Zoom only, and general meetings will be Zoom only during the summer when the YC campus is closed. We hope our remote members understand that this action is necessary to preserve the quality of our general meetings for the vast majority of our members who attend in person.
