"Following on the heels of the demise of the Macworld magazine is the announcement that the Macworld Expo is also gone. More info here. The first Macworld Expo that the wife and I went to was in February, 2008. This is where Jobs introduced the Macbook Air. I, of course, hurried home, bought one, and haven't looked back.
So, how was Macworld in San Francisco this year, you ask? Jim Hamm sends this link dated January 31, 2011 which gives an in-depth look at this year's show, describes some cool products and comments on what organizers should consider doing to keep the show relevant in the future.
Thinking ahead, Art Gorski plans to go to MacWorld Expo in January. He writes, "I'm thinking the end of January will be a good time to get the heck out of Prescott and was considering making a road trip to Macworld Expo. I'm willing to drive (my car is quite comfortable...and fast!) and wanted to know if anyone wants to come along.
